Mat 25:13 Watch (for the sign) therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour (the when) wherein the Son of man cometh.
- Tidak seorangpun mengetahui kapannya (jam dan hari) dari kedatangannya dan akhirnya dunia ini, namun kita perlu untuk mengetahui tandanya

Though no man knoweth the day nor the hour of His coming, we are instructed and required to know WHEN IT IS NEAR. We are further taught that to disregard His warning, and refuse or neglect to know when His advent is near, will be as FATAL for us as it was for those who lived in the days of Noah not to know when the flood was coming. THE SIGN
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall SEE THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

- Artinya Jerusalem (gereja) dibakar api oleh kuasa sipil = desolation
Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of THE GREAT WHORE (apostate church) that sitteth upon many waters:
Rev 17:2 With whom THE KINGS (civil power) of the earth have committed FORNICATION, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of ABOMINATIONS and filthiness of her fornication:
Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

- Jerusalem (gereja) katakan bahwa kepala gereja mereka bukan Kristus
- Mereka sudah menggantikan Kristus dengan raja Kaisar (kuasa sipil)
- Ini adalah percabulan (fornication) yang adalah ABOMINATION
- Jerusalem (Jewish church) menjadi pelacur (harlot)
- Kaisar artinya kuasa sipil
Babylon is also charged with the sin of unlawful connection with “the kings of the earth.” It was by departure from the Lord, and alliance with the heathen, that THE JEWISH CHURCH BECAME A HARLOT; and Rome, corrupting herself in like manner by seeking the support of worldly powers, receives a like condemnation. THE DESOLATION
Mat 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that KILLEST the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
Mat 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you DESOLATE.
Mat 22:6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and SLEW them.
Mat 22:7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those MURDERERS, and BURNED up their city.

Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee THE JUDGMENT of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
Rev 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
Solemn are the scenes connected with the closing work of THE ATONEMENT. Momentous are the interests involved therein. THE JUDGMENT is now passing in the sanctuary above. Counsels for the Church, p. 348, par. 5

Rev 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy JUDGMENT come.
- Pada hari penghakiman, kuasa gereja murtad (kepausan) jatuh, karna percabulannya dengan raja-raja dunia (abomination)
- Dan sebagaimana Jerusalem (gereja murtad) bercabul dengan kuasa sipil, dan di hakimi tahun 70AD (desolation) waktu kotanya dibakar apa, demikian juga, kuasa gereja ini diakhir zaman akan mengalami desolation (dibakar api)

THE EVENTS
Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall SEE ALL THESE THINGS, know that IT IS NEAR, even at the doors.

Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

THE HOLY PLACE
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in THE HOLY PLACE, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Isa 52:1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, THE HOLY CITY: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
Eze_20:15 Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the LAND which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the GLORY of all lands;

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns LIKE A LAMB, and he SPAKE as a dragon.
The “SPEAKING” of the nation is the action of its LEGISLATIVE and JUDICIAL authorities… And the statement that the beast with two horns “causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast” indicates that the authority of this nation is to be exercised in enforcing some observance which shall be AN ACT OF HOMAGE TO THE PAPACY. Great Controversy, p. 442, par. 1
A MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY
2Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

- Kristus sudah mengatakan kepada murid-muridnya sebelum terjadinya peristiwa-peristiwa ini, sehingga waktu digenapi, murid-muridnya bisa percaya perkataannya.
1Co 14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but PROPHESYING serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which BELIEVE.
Joh 3:15 That whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

The time is not far distant, when, like the early disciples, we shall be forced to seek a refuge in desolate and solitary places. As the siege of Jerusalem by the Roman armies was THE SIGNAL for flight to the Judean Christians, so THE ASSUMPTION OF POWER on the part of our nation in the decree enforcing the papal sabbath will be a warning to us. It will then be TIME TO LEAVE THE LARGE CITIES, preparatory to leaving the smaller ones for retired homes in secluded places AMONG THE MOUNTAINS. And now, instead of seeking expensive dwellings here, we should be preparing to move to a better country, even a heavenly. Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 464, par. 3
Not one Christian perished in the destruction of Jerusalem. Christ had given His disciples warning, and ALL WHO BELIEVED His words watched for the promised sign. “When ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies,” said Jesus, “then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out.” Luke 21:20, 21… Without delay they fled to a place of safety—the city of Pella, in the land of Perea, beyond Jordan. Great Controversy, p. 38, par. 2
The events connected with the close of probation and the work of preparation for the time of trouble, are clearly presented. But multitudes have no more understanding of these important truths than if they had never been revealed. Satan watches to catch away every impression that would make them wise unto salvation, and the time of trouble will find them unready. Great Controversy, p. 594, par. 1
